Invasive Plant Control Workday – Tunica Hills

March 18 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join the Louisiana Master Naturalists of Greater Baton Rouge for our first Invasive Plant Control Workday of 2023 on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in the Trail A Ravine in the South Tract of the Tunica Hills WMA. Our Special Use Permit (SUP) covers the removal of non-native Ardisia sp., tallow trees, trifoliate orange and privet. Please see the attached ID guide for privet and for yaupon, an important native shrub. We will meet in the Trail A parking lot at 9 am but you are welcome to start at any time. If you prefer a time other than 9 am, please call or text me at 225-229-8856 so I can ensure you can meet up with the work crew.
