Louisiana Native Plant Society presents the 2027 Louisiana Annual Native Plant Conference Friday, March 5th – Sunday, March 7th.
Connect with other native plant enthusiasts, explore with guided tours and learn from some of the native plant legends from our area.
Event Location
Set among 200 wooded acres in Loranger, the Solomon Center offers a fitting natural setting for the 2027 LNPS Annual Conference. Its pine forest, 12-acre lake and wooded trails will give attendees opportunities to observe the landscape, enjoy time outdoors and connect with others who share an appreciation for Louisiana’s native plants and natural communities.
Event Activities
A Weekend Rooted in Learning and Education
Conference attendees can look forward to a full weekend of speakers, educational sessions and opportunities to connect with fellow native plant enthusiasts. Activities will include an evening social, native plant sale, silent auction, book share, field trips and a plant propagation workshop.
The weekend will also celebrate LNPS founding member Dr. Charles M. Allen and his lasting contributions to Louisiana native plant conservation and education.
