Briarwood Nature Preserve Annual Spring Picnic

The annual spring picnic will be held April 20th, 2024. This is our largest event of the year!

9:00 am “Turning Your Yard into a Birding Yard” Presentation by John Dillon
10:00 am General Registration. Tour Information and Coffee. Be sure to check in at the registration table to be eligible for door prizes and get the latest information.
10:30 am Morning Walking and Golf Cart Tours depart the Education Building*
10:30 am “The History of Louisiana Irises in North Louisiana” Presentation by Patrick O’Connor
11:30 am-1:30 pm Lunch is served in the Education Building. Enjoy live music by Derrick McLendon and seating at the Pavilion.
1:00 pm Door Prizes
1:30 pm Afternoon Walking, Naturalist Hike, and Golf Cart Tours depart the Education Building*
