Dr. Charles Allen: Louisiana Natural Treasure online event

September 25, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Charles Allen, the dean of Louisiana field biologists, will share with us the highlights of his remarkable career spanning five decades.
Dr. Allen has an impressive resume. A forestry major at LSU, he earned a master’s in botany and a PhD in biology. Charles was an accomplished professor of botany. He has authored a dozen books and countless, significant articles. He has lectured around the world.  His professional accomplishments alone would make for an enthralling conversation. Also, as the thousands who have had the pleasure of learning from him can attest, Dr. Allen possesses an amazing, unique combination of unbridled curiosity and infectious enthusiasm when it comes to better understanding natural history.
This free and interactive Zoom event promises to be great fun and supremely informative. Have a question about botany or about moths or about ecology? Don’t miss this chance to ask Dr. Allen directly.
